Bird -old pizza house-

This is the best pizza place I've ever eaten before.(according to the staff).
The restaurant is full of the owner's specialties and is very stylish and cozy.

Above all, the owner has the best sense and personality. It is also possible to take home, so it is good to eat in the park on a nice day, or to eat in the guesthouse for a night meal.

MATSUBAROU

Located right in front of 14guesthouse, it's a well-established restaurant that serves delicious eels.
Matsubarou has a long history, starting as a fish shop called "Gouden" around the 32nd year of Meiji era (1868-1912) and starting as a kappo-ryouri (Japanese cooking) restaurant, Matsubarou, in the 15th year of Taisho era (1926-1989).
The staff of 14 Guesthouse has been going to Matsubarou, which has made the history of Yoshiwara since before I could even remember, and I recommend it with confidence.
The restaurant is very stylish and Japanese modern.

They have a wide selection of cocktails, as well as sake and shochu.

These are all dishes you'll want to remember and eat after you leave the restaurant and before you go to bed at night. It's a shop you'll want to introduce to someone. The interior is also very stylish, so be sure to check it out!

Nangakudo

This is an old-established confectionery shop in Yoshiwara that has been in business for about 170 years, and the sixth generation of the owner has been keeping the traditional taste of the shop alive with a breath of fresh air. A typical Japanese style cookie is "Tripan". This "bread" is a remnant of the old days when cookies were called "bread," as you can see in the kampan, and the simple taste of flour, sugar, eggs, and baking soda without butter is a precious reminder of the Japanese people's old-fashioned sweets. Also, in the old days when molds were not generally available as they are now, craftsmen made the molds themselves, and the original wooden molds of Nangyakudo are displayed in the store.
